Since the Green Line opened, we have proudly served certified organic and fairly traded coffees roasted by EQUAL EXCHANGE

Through Equal Exchange, we have established a unique personal relationship to the workers who grow our house coffee, a full-bodied single-source Peruvian bean grown high in the Andes by the worker-owned Cooperativa San Fernando. We introduced this coffee to the Philadelphia market in 2006. In 2007, The Green Line Cafe was involved along with Equal Exchange in assisting the Cooperativa San Fernando make structural improvements to their coffee processing facility with the addition of solar drying beds. Representatives from San Fernando visited the Green Line in 2007, and Green Line co-owner Daniel Thut visited the San Fernando community in 2008.
