Art Submission Info

The Green Line schedules exhibitions at each of its three locations. They are curated by Green Line co-owner Douglas Witmer, an internationally exhibiting visual artist. We have shown work by artists from around the country, however we prioritize submissions from Philadelphia-area artists. We also welcome themed proposals by guest curators and community groups.

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMITTING YOUR WORK:
–Mail or drop off a CD with 10 images of your work to our Baltimore Avenue location only. This should include media/size info for the works, your contact info, bio/resume, and optional artist statement.
–E-mail us a link to your website where the above information will be found. PLEASE NO E-MAIL ATTACHMENTS. These will not be considered.
Note: please send images of work that it representative of what you would plan to exhibit if you were given a show.
–Artists who are offered a show will be required to agree to exhibition terms set forth by the cafe, including a 30% commission on works sold.
–You can view/download the exhibition agreement HERE.

Please note that we cannot return your materials.
Each submission will be given personal attention, however we are unable to respond to submissions unless we are interested in showing your work. Sometimes this can take a while. It’s not personal, it’s just how it goes.
Please do not call the cafe about art submissions. The staff working behind the counter will not be able to help you.
