Fri, April 16 – Jaclyn Marie / Psalmships / Louis Elliott and the Kinsmen Red

Psalmships

Psalmships is a project from the Sweetheart Parade’s Joshua Britton.
It’s more of a dismembered limb. Ghost folk. Rather enjoyable.

Louis Elliott

Louis Elliott was born December 21, 2012, before noon under the shade of a cherry tree along the Schuylkill River, in Philadelphia. His father is Running Bear. His mother is the River. He was raised on milk and catfish. He plays music with pianos guitars bones and blood. I once thought the music reminded me of perpetual motion, but upon further reflection it was more like Old Waiku. He claims he met Bob Dylan at 4:14 a.m. while singing in Washington Square Park to nightingales. Many dispute this fact and believe Louis really only sang to bums who sleep in the park. Folks who, in all likelihood, still sleep in the park. Maybe they know the answer and could shed some light and resolve this biographical dispute once and for all. He is accompanied by the Red Sticks, a rare and select group of musicians. — A Newspaper Woman.
