Ketch Wehr | Anthropomorphism: Or, “I Can’t Make You Love Me If You Don’t.”

Ketch Wehr

Through June 2009
Green Line on Locust | 45th & Locust

This show is a collection of Ketch Wehr’s highly detailed ballpoint animal illustrations and prints. ‘Anthropomorphism’ considers the relationship between humans and non-human animals. Wehr examines the identities, worth and whims humans can press upon animals, as well as the similarly problematic, though potentially well-intentioned, identities the artist himself attaches to all manner of animalia.
